Kumanovo Art Gallery
The Art Gallery is located in the complex of the old municipal building, a facility built in the thirties of last century, designed by the municipal architect Vladimir Antonov. It opened on 16 June 1967 with the First art exhibition, “Yugoslav and Foreign Artists.” In 2006, the space was renovated again. The house has 5 exhibition halls (187 m2) depot and working space. It is intended for temporary exhibition of the arts and archeology, history, ethnology and art history. The Art Gallery works in partnership with the Department of Fine Art, which is part of the National Institute Museum – Kumanovo. During its existence the department has achieved significant results in organizing solo and group art exhibitions, as well as the maintenance of the Art Colony “Kumanovo,” which is held every year in cooperation with the Municipality of Kumanovo.
